Seiichi Hiiragi is the main protagonist of Shinka no Mi.

Seiichi is initially a normal overweight Japanese youth with black eyes and black hair, but after his first evolution he gained a more slender yet still muscular appearance. He wears a white shirt and blue pants. He wears a black motorcycle helmet that later transforms in a black robe with golden details, this is used to help disguise his stat screen so he does not appear monstrous.

Seiichi at first did not like Saria, and he has to unwillingly live with her in the forest of Love and Sorrow. But he started warming up to her as she took care of him as a wife would, by washing his clothes, making food for him, and giving him knowledge about the current world. He also admitted she would be a perfect bride if she were not a gorilla.
He, later on, tried to escape from her. But during his escape, when he arrived at the dungeon of Xenos, Saria sacrificed herself for him by taking the attack head-on. He then realizes that he really loves Saria even though she is a gorilla.
After Saria evolved into a woman, he started caring for her, and eventually got engaged. Saria is now the most important person in his life, and he loves her very much. Whenever he is tired, frustrated, or depressed from his inhuman power, just seeing Saria's smile and greeting will make his heart warm and cause all his frustration and negative feelings to disappear. Saria knows Seiichi better than anyone else, and she also trusts Seiichi more than anyone else.
Altria Grem[]
Seiichi met Altria while registering for a guild. After the guild registration, she became the supervisor for both Saria and Seiichi. During the guild's demolition request, when Seiichi collapses the whole mansion with just a punch, Altria thinks that Seiichi has died under the weight of the demolished mansion because of her curse. But she was shocked when Seiichi came out without a scratch, and for the first time, she had fun with someone without the curse affecting them.
After Seiichi saved her from The Black Dragon God, he gave her a ring to cancel her curse. He also made her realize that everyone in the guild loves her and no one avoids her because of her curse. He comforted them while hugging her, which caused her to develop feelings for him. Later on, when she confessed to him, they started dating after Saria permitted him to accept her feelings.
Lulune[]
When Gassur told Seiichi to buy a horse to make his adventuring easier, he went to a monster store to buy one and met Lulune. Lulune was a donkey who did not like weak male humans. As such, she would kick any male human deemed weak who approached her, even her own shopkeeper. This is because her mother told her she should provide her services to only those she finds worthy and strong. When she first met Seiichi, she tried to kick him, but he easily overpowered her and lifted her up with one arm. She tried desperately to escape, but after trying several times, she gave in and recognized Seiichi as her master, whom she would follow for life.
Seiichi started feeding her delicious human food after leaving the store. She was at first surprised to see a donkey being treated so kindly but later developed a special liking to human food and became a glutton. After winning the royal cup, she evolved into a human form (a beautiful bishojo) after eating the evolution fruit given by Seiichi.
Seiichi cares for her very much, and it is hinted that he has feelings for her during their date. The love pendant multiplied while on their date, and he gave it to her. Lulune also loves Seiichi but restricts her feelings as she thinks there can be no relationship between her and Seiichi, besides master and servant. She also does not want to be in the way of Altria and Saria. Her favorite hobby is going out with Seiichi and eating lots of food. Seiichi also loves feeding her as he loves her expression when eating.

She first meets Seiichi in Ranze's castle while escaping after cursing Ranze. She was astonished when Seiichi not only saw through her attack, but also overpowered and caught her. But during her interrogation, Seiichi showed her kindness by providing her with food. Seiichi even extended his kindness by releasing her from her slave necklace. He also treated her as his little sister, rather than an assassin.
For the first time after being captured as a slave/assassin, she started crying as she was loved and petted by someone. He later learnt that as she was from a cursed beastmen group, she was abandoned by her parents and treated as a tool for killing many after being captured. Seiichi assured her to be with him as he would always treasure her as his little sister. She thus became Seiichi's adopted little sister, where both love and care for each other very much as siblings. Seiichi always spoils her.
Louise[]
When Seiichi won the Royal Cup, the prize was to spend a whole day with the Valkyries. As he arrived at the castle where all the Valkyries were, he was given a sword and challenged by Louise, the most powerful knight/Valkyrie. He was thus forced to fight her unwillingly, but nonetheless still managed to beat her overwhelmingly. Everyone who saw the fight was shocked as they only saw him as a common adventurer, but yet he managed to beat the most powerful knight.
After the battle, Louise, who had always felt lonely as no one could match her swordsmanship, tasted defeat for the first time. She thus asked Seiichi to become her Shishou (teacher) which he accepted upon learning about her loneliness. From then on, she trained under him and became a transcendental, which was the highest level any human can reach. However, Louise was not satisfied with that as she has seen Seiichi's strength and wanted to become even stronger than a transcendental. As she trained under him, she eventually gave priority to Seiichi over everyone else, even her king. She also came to a decision to acknowledge Seiichi's strength and started caring for him deeply. Whenever she has beaten a high-level monster, she wants him to praise her with a pat on her head.
She has developed romantic feelings for him but did not recognize it as such. She views Seiichi as her teacher and that the feelings she carries for him are due to that of a student. Likewise, Seiichi recognizes Louise's care for him and views it as a master-disciple relationship.
Lutis[]
Seiichi meets her when she comes to Wemburg Kingdom for demon and human coexistence. However she is attacked and cursed, so Seiichi was called to heal her. Everyone on the demon kingdom's side thought that nobody could treat her now, so they became angry when Seiichi claimed that he could; no one believed him, but after treating Lutis, she woke up to everyone's shock. When she came close to thanking Seiichi for healing her, she saw an absurd amount of power in him. So she started following him everywhere he goes as a shadow in the castle and said to everyone that she will go with Seiichi and live with him. Everyone in the demon kingdom was shocked and again became angry with Seiichi and asked Lutis why does she want to go with him as he can't protect her because he does not look strong, but disregarding every thought, Lutis said that he's far stronger than everyone so she will be safe with him. After Seiichi unwillingly beat down each member of the demon kingdom they realized it's safe to let her go with him. So she started traveling with Seiichi and also became strong in the process. Seiichi also helped her by freeing her father from the cursed restraints so she could meet her father after so long. As of now, there is no romantic relationship between them; she just respects him and is thankful to him for everything he has done for her.
Zora[]
Seiichi freed her from the snake dungeon, and gave her magic restraint glasses so she could see the world with her own eyes without petrifying anyone. And she later starts traveling with Seiichi and co; she is very thankful to him and respects his godly powers. No romantic relationship has been seen between them as of now.
Kannazuki Karen[]
She is the childhood friend of Seiichi. When she was young, she had short hair and looked like a tomboy. Because of her appearance, she was often bullied. Then at that time, Seiichi helped her from the bullies, and the bullies started bullying him and beating him for his appearance. Because of his actions, she became his friend. Her family runs the Kannazuki Group Company. The workers in the company kidnapped Karen and her friends, except for Seiichi. They kidnapped her because the workers said they do not get enough salary for their work and achievements, so they kidnapped her and asked for ransom from her family. She is another childhood friend of Seiichi. She was a loner at school during junior high. Then she met Seiichi. Seiichi encouraged her that she is so cute. If she gets dressed up and speaks to everyone, she would make more friends. Every day she and he will eat lunch on the rooftop. She started to develop feelings for him. After then she got more friends. Seiichi stopped coming to the rooftop because he thought that her reputation will be damaged if he continued to be her friend. She got more confessions, but rejected them because her heart only belonged to Seiichi. Even after being summoned to another world, she kept searching for Seiichi. Then she finally met him at the Academy and confessed her love along with Kannazuki Karen to Seiichi. After seeing Saria as his wife, the two of them decided to be his concubines because Polygamy is normal in that world. She also removes the slave collar from her hands Seiichi. Like Kannazuki, she also makes Seiichi wear it again to her. She also becomes Seiichi's slave.

Seiichi's parents loved them very much; they were the only reason he could survive the bullying in his school.
